Job Responsibilities
Handling of the Merchandise store in the restaurant and our in house Art gallery.

  • Selection of Vendors (local/non-local) mostly related to Art, hand crafted, related to food ,Malaka Spice, Creative designs, Quality products
    • Vendors who provide us products on consignment
    • Vendors who understand the work and culture of Malaka Spice
    • Vendors who are consistent in billing and refreshing products
  • Feeding merchandise details with proper bar-coding
    • Display of new items will be done on the Merchandise Cart.
  • Maintaining Inventory
  • Bills – The billing has to be looked after.
    • Bills to be cleared every month for companies which are regular suppliers
  • Changing of paintings in the Art gallery every fortnightly.

  • To check the goods received is according to the order placed
  • To check the quality and quantity of the goods received and report the Executive Chef if any complaints in quality quantity or billing
  • To check the fridges are cleaned and stacked properly
  • To check the items in the fridge are labeled and check for the expiry date.
  • To check the misenpla is ready for the days operations
  • To prepare food according to the receipe with proper plating
  • To check for any maintenance in the kitchen equipment
  • To check into the closing duties of the helpers.
